There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at Airport Game Lodge for 2 nights with a 10-day gap in between for travel purposes. The lodge offers a lovely garden, a good restaurant, and a delicious included breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some may be smaller. The staff is always helpful and they even picked us up from Oliver Tambo airport at 12:45 am. I really appreciated being able to leave my vehicle there for short periods of time. The lodge is conveniently located just a 5-10 minute drive from JNB OR Tambo airport. The country setting within the city allows for animals to roam freely, giving you a taste of Africa right from day one. The shuttle service is free and the overall value for money is excellent. Highly recommended for transit or an overnight stay in the Johannesburg area.

As young people, we really enjoyed the spacious rooms with comfortable queen-sized beds. the tasteful decor added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. the outdoor sitting area with hammocks and benches was a definite highlight, and we loved the opportunity to feed the wild game in their enclosures. the free airport shuttle was a convenient perk that we appreciated.

We felt very secure during our stay and had no reason to complain.

I got great value for my money at Airport Game Lodge. The room was spotless and the surroundings were amazing with wildlife right outside my door. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even better. The location was peaceful and quiet, providing a much-needed escape from the busy world.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with better quality options.

The Lodge offered a great sense of space with lush grounds, perfect for a walk after a long flight. the staff, including Judy, Rodney, Monica, Thomas, and others. the animals around the lodge, such as deers, ostriches, blesbok antelopes, and peacocks, added to the nice mood and created a unique experience. the family room was spacious and well-equipped. the breakfast, despite load shedding, was delicious and satisfying.

We had an amazing stay at a lodge near the airport. Judy, the manager on duty, was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, she took care of all our needs and made our stay an absolute pleasure. She went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests and ensure our comfort. the rooms were incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor sitting area. the lodge also had beautiful grounds with plenty of game to admire. We were also impressed with the convenience of the airport transfer service and the excellent parking facilities for our car. What stood out the most, however, was the way guests were treated. the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and respectful. We appreciated how all guests, regardless of color, ethnicity, or race, were treated equally and with no judgment. It was heartwarming to see such inclusivity, especially since most of the guests were from overseas. We cannot wait to return to this wonderful lodge in the years to come. Cons: Nothing 🙌.
